Sam Praher is blended name for the love of music, originated from the renowned names in the music industry Praher Vora and Sampada Vora. Although the couple together have rendered amazing musical performances, individually also they have shown par excellence at times in any genres of music. Let’s talk about Praher Vora, the main pillar of this whole brand. Praher Vora boasts of an extremely rich musical heritage with his father Dr. Shvetketu Vora, Ph.D. in Hindustani Classical Music being a Programme Executive at Doordarshan Kendra and his mother Mrs.Priti Vora, being a Master in Classical Vocal music, who has been teaching music to students for more than two decades.
Praher’s foray in the realm of music began at a tender age of five. His profuse love for music combined with formal training empowered him to start giving remarkable stage performances at the age 6.
Since then he has carried forward his musical legacy in the most extraordinary manner. He started training in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music with Late Shri Krishnakant Parikh. He has been a child playback singer in 3 Gujarati movies at the time. Praher has been trained and is proficient in Tabla for more than 10 years. Currently, he is mentored by the critically acclaimed Music Directors- Shri Gaurang Vyas, and Shri Gautam Mukherjee.
Praher’s exuberance and passion for music has allowed him to conquer great heights of success, all across the India and overseas. He has given more than 600 live, enthralling performances across the country. Praher has also been swaying the audience to his melodious tunes in USA, since past 5 years. He also presents his soulful renditions of timeless music at ‘Saptak’- the International Classical Music Festival since 4 years now.
His latest accomplishment comprises of the composition, arrangement, and singing of music at the newly launched Light and Sound show at Somnath Temple, Gujarat, which also includes narration by the legendary Shri Amitabh Bachchan. The effect of this show is simply mesmerising.
Praher has flourished when it comes to music composition as well, and is equally talented in it as he is in singing. He has launched 2 original albums: Naad Bramh and Swar Praher. These albums have managed to carve a niche of their own, with Praher’s melodious and soothing voice. It is a delight to both ears and the soul!
Praher’s composing and performing abilities are also showcased in 4 documentaries of Maahi Dairy and Amul, where he arranged, composed, and sang, under the film direction of Shri Salil Mehta.
Praher has attained degrees of M.Com, M.B.A. (Finance), C.A., and is presently pursuing C.S.
